claiming land

How to claim a plot of land and the commands needed.

Items needed are 1 stickand 1 golden shovel you can get 1 shovel form the command :

/kit shovel

once u have these 2 items you are all set to claim some land first off it is best to mark

2 cornors of where u want to claim like in the pic. The 2 emerald block will be my 2 cornor spots.

So the smallest area u can claim is a 10 x 10 area. Putting the golden shovel in ur hand will tell you how many claim blocks you have. The pic below is what you will see in the chat box.

By cliclking the first cornor block will bring up these diamond blocks to show you the place you have clicked. You do the same for the other cornor and then you will see glowstone and golden blocks. This is the border of your area.

Any thing you build in side the this area can not be destroyed by other people.

If you build out side of the area it will warn you that ppl can destroyed these blocks.

Placing things down like chests and furnace will be protected from others taking stuff you have in them or are smelting.

Now for the stick. The stick will show you what is claimed and what is not and if its claimed whos it is, All you have to do is click a block and if that block is in someones claim it will tell you and show you the claim area.

Anything i now do in this area no one can take from it.

there are some commands to this that do allow people to access your stuff and build on your claim.
